Asteroid – Samsung Galaxy XR

Asteroid, in partnership with 30 Ninjas, Google and Samsung is an immersive gaming experience developed for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy XR headset. The game is prefaced by a 20-minute, spatialized audio film experience that sets up the story and introduces the characters. The experience showcased the platform’s spatial audio capabilities through the use of third-order Ambisonics, allowing players to engage with an interactive virtual environment. Included within the experience is an AI-powered recreation of NFL player DK Metcalf, with whom players can interact and have real-time conversations.
